McDermott Inc. Oil Rig Aerial Photos-Morgan City, LAIn early 2013, Louisiana Helicam had the opportunity to shoot aerial images at the McDermott, Inc. shipyard in Morgan City, LA. This particular visit required aerial images of 60,000 ton oil rig that was constructed onsite and loaded onto a barge via rail. This particular rig was bound for Africa.

West Monroe, LA Bridge Replacement ProjectWe had the privilege of shooting a West Monroe, LA bridge replacement project for Case Atlantic (http://www.caseatlantic.com) in November of 2010. This project involved a pre-fabricated bridge section that was eventually lifted and set in place. Photos are located in the following gallery:
St. Landry Visitor CenterWe had the privilege of shooting aerials for the St. Landry Visitor Center in late 2012. This facility can be viewed from I-20 near Ville Platte, LA. The landscaping was designed by Jeffrey Carbo and Associates Landscape Architects and Design Planners. You can view their website at: http://www.jeffreycarbo.com. Other links of interest:
Louisiana State University Tiger Stadium Death Valley Aerial PhotosWe recently had the opportunity to shoot a number of aerials at Louisiana State University's Tiger Stadium. These images were taken during the last few weeks of the Tiger Stadium Death Valley endzone construction project. All images were shot at 35mm (full frame). The night aerials were taken during a 24/7 work period and it was common for the stadium to be lit well into the evening hours. Some evening shots involved the use of the stadium's regular flood lights while others involved scoreboard lighting only. This is a beautiful stadium when captured from the air during evening hours. Enjoy!
Sweetwater, TX Wind Turbine Farm Aerial PhotosI was able to stop and grab several Sweetwater, Texas wind farm shots while heading back home from a weekend of shooting natural gas sites. These 1.5 MW wind turbines are built by General Electric and average 250-300 feet in height! Needless to say, it was quite an experience and the countryside in which they reside is absolutely beautiful!
